Aggregates

Traditionally aggregates were produced by crushing rock to a nominated or specific size but they can now be produced from other materials.
Aggregates are used in many areas of construction but are primarily used in concrete, asphalt and for drainage.

Plumbers Mix 7-10mm - Quarried crushed gravel used in concrete mix or as a drainage aggregate. (example, to place over plumbing pipes)
Available by the Tonne or 25-30kg Bag.

Drainage Mix 14-20mm - Quarried crushed gravel used for drainage. (example, behind retaining walls over agg pipe)
Available by the Tonne or 25-30kg Bag. 

¼ Minus (Crusher Dust) - Metal dust fines, compactable underlay for pavers.
Available by the Tonne or 25-30kg Bag.

Metal Slab Fill (Road Base) - Quarried mix of gravels of varying sizes designed to compact.
Available by the Tonne

Blue Metal Spalls (75-150mm) - ideal for Gabion Cages & Walls
Available by the Tonne

Drainage Ash - Lightweight material (40mm), ideal for backfill for behind retaining walls.
Available by the Cubic metre
